8aseboards, Qua rte r Rounds, and  other specialty moldings in any of 60 species of wood. We would
be happy to quote you on your specific species and at the same time quote you on a similar less
e xpensive wood stained and finished to match.

Today,  there are over 100 brands of wood laminates:  expresso, rosewood,  sucupira , doussie ,
lapacho, just to name a few, a lot of the brand names provide no moldinga or stair parts . We have
been producing  pre -fi nished as well as unfinished items  for the past 23 ye ars.

If your tread or molding needs differ from the items we have on our web page , you might want to
make a drawing of what you have in mind and email or FAX it to us so we can give you a quote. If
you have a custom step or stairnose you can do the same. At some point we will need a template
of what you have in mind unless the design can be described mathematically. If you would prefer

Most of the time , a molding can be made from oak or map e or jatoba and properly colored, and
finished , it will match your flooring just fine. This is an alternative to buying some of the more exotic
species like ebony, koa , tigerwood, etc.  Some of the floors require distressing, handscraping, or
wire brushing  t  achieve the desired look. Glos s levels are important . The propr finish coat of
matte, satin, or gloss will make the product match that much better. We can always provide a little
extra stain or finish if you need it.

Custom bamboo pieces will always be made from bamboo unless agreed upon to the contrary.
Special lengths are always available on request. Standard lengths will usually be 6 t o 8 feet Iong. You
will pay more for a longer length in most of the species. We keep a lot of longer material in oak,
maple, and jatoba. Buy long lengths only if you need them. Remember, the  freight on Iong materials
can be expensive.

Lead time on most orders will be a few days ; some of the exotics can take 2 wks; we can give you
a confirmed ship date once we know what you need.
