GETTING STARTED

Enduracolor and color wood flooring have been synonymous for almost 20 years. We totally prefinish the wood flooring to your color and apply 3 coats of the toughest urethane finish available on top. Routine maintenance using our special mop and cleaner is all you do until the floor needs to be re-coated not re-colored.

We keep a large inventory of three types of wood flooring to custom color: Plank 3" x 5/8" x 36" square edge red oak designed for glue down application Plank 5" x ½" x r l bevel edge red oak designed for glue down application Longstrip 7 ½' X 9/16" X 84" oak wood designed for floating application.

Enduracolor makes a 42 color architect folder available for $30 delivered . Cost of folder will be applied to any order. Sample chips in the book are 1" x 3"; larger pieces of any of the colors can be ordered @ no charge.

Please review the various the following textures, colors, and finishes that we make available to you: These decisions will determine "the look" of the floor you are considering and will give us the information we need to assist you in GETTING STARTED. Combinations of the following will allow for infinite numbers of styles and colors:

• PAINTED COLORED FLOORS: we coat the flooring 5 times with the same colored urethane paint to achieve a homogeneous look wall to wall.
• TRADITIONAL STAINS: the colors that have been seen on wood floors for the past century; Golden Oak, Jacobean, Pickle White, Walnut, Rosewood, Cherry, just to mention a few.
• ENDURACOLOR: what we are truly known for, making those exciting Primary and Secondary colors or Custom coloring to match your fabric or wall color. Give us a sample swatch of fabric or a Benjamin Moore paint color and we'll make a strike off for you.
• COLOR IN THE GRAIN: we wash the stain into the soft grain and wash it off the rest to leave the floor looking as natural as possible, or if you prefer, maybe even another color.
• TWO TONE COLORS: 2 shades or 2 different colors on the same wood; looks wonderful !!
• THREE TONE COLORS: usually the grain is one color and 2 other complimenting colors are washed on to give the floor an almost Pearlized look.
• GLOSS LEVELS: Gloss, SemiGloss, Satin, and Dead Flat. The Satin comes closest to a waxed look. Note: some contractors request that we leave the last 2 coats off and they job finish them; OK with us.
• WATER BASED OR MOISTURE CURE URETHANE: let us know your preference.
• BEVELED EDGES/ SQUARE EDGES/ MICRO BEVELS: we'll see what we can do to accommodate you depending on the product we are custom coloring.
• DISTRESSED, ANTIQUED, gouged, dented, look of layers of paint sanded off over the years, etc.
• LENGTH, WIDTH, THICKNESS of planking. Tell us what you are looking for. We do work with an inventory of materials as mentioned above.
• GLUE DOWN, NAIL DOWN, FLOATING SYSTEMS: we carry these 3 as our standard inventory but perhaps you are looking for something different; let us know.
